More Walking

A few weeks ago we had dinner with our friends Eric and Heather at their home, and after dinner their daughter decided it was time for Kate to start walking. At their daughter's urging, Kate took a couple of steps there, and Eric shot some video for us. His camera takes far nicer videos than ours:

On the way home, Devoted Wife expressed her excitement with Kate's progress. I nodded absentmindedly, focusing instead on how badly we need a new camera. First things first, right?

Just two weeks later Kate's quite a bit sturdier on her feet. My camera is still a lot older than Eric's, but you can get the general idea:

I bet Spielberg never had to deal with equipment like this.

Kate's starting to really enjoy books. I'm sure she's still weeks away from reading, but she tries to fool us sometimes:

So my favorite part of the video at the McGregors is how "all business" Rich is. Child in the way - toss her aside...quiet on the set! By the way, Campbell keeps getting upset with me for turning off the 2nd video before it's done...so I guess (which I don't) so I guess he has some issues with the ending. ;-)

I blame the ending on my poor equipment, which I'm attempting to upgrade.

Negotiations with Devoted Wife may be fierce.
