Kate is fascinated with spelling. However, its clear that while she is an appreciator of the art, she is not yet a practitioner.
The other day Jaime was talking with a friend about the fact that she was thinking of getting a trampoline because our kids have so much fun on the one at their grandparents' house. Since Kate was in the room and because Jaime didn't want her to know what she was talking about, she was a bit cryptic. The conversation went something like this:
JAIME: "So I'm thinking that the kids might like a T-R-A-M-P--"
KATE: {interrupting} "Hey, what's that? What are you spelling? What is a T-R-A-M-P? Is it a PINATA???"
